Introducing Automated Fraud Alerts
Effective May 25, 2022, all members with a UTFCU debit card or UTFCU credit card will receive suspicious activity alerts digitally.
How will it work?
When suspicious activity is detected on your card, our system will initiate a series of digital contact attempts to verify the transaction(s) in question. The system will attempt to reach you using a flow of three methods, beginning with a text message, then digital phone call(s) if no text response, then finally an email if contact hasn’t been established by one of the other methods.
Do I need to enroll?
No! All members with UTFCU debit or UTFCU credit cards will benefit from these alerts beginning on May 25, 2022.
How do I update my contact information?
Having accurate mobile phone numbers and email addresses will be key to you receiving your alerts. To view or edit your current contact information, simply login to online/mobile banking and select “Manage Contact Info”. You can also call us at (865) 971-1971 or stop by any branch.
