KNOXVILLE, TENN. - October 4, 2024 - UT Federal Credit Union (UTFCU) recently made a large donation of supplies to the Kids First Child Advocacy Center of the 9th Judicial District of Tennessee (CAC). This donation was the culmination of a supply drive at both its corporate office and in area branches, and had been planned and coordinated by UTFCU's Kindness Committee as part of an ongoing effort to give back to those in need in the community.

Volunteers from the Kindness Committee, an internal committee within UTFCU created to drive volunteer and outreach initiatives at UTFCU, gathered, and then transported the collected supplies consisting of items like small toys, games, and books to the Advocacy Center in September. The CAC is an organization that supports communities in their response to child abuse and helps to ensure the needs of child victims.

UTFCU members were also encouraged to participate by bringing in these items for donation at its various branches in Knoxville.
