KNOXVILLE, TENN. - November 8, 2024 - UT Federal Credit Union (UTFCU) team members recently took part in building a playhouse with Habitat for Humanity in Knoxville. Upon completion, the playhouse will be given to the young daughter of a veteran family in the area. Planning for this effort was directed through UTFCU's Kindness Committee as part of an ongoing initiative to give back to the community.

On Nov. 7, volunteers from the Kindness Committee, an internal committee within UTFCU that steers volunteer and outreach projects, along with other team members from the credit union, built a child's playhouse through a coordinated team effort. Painted in a style and color reminiscent of a magical winter wonderland, the finished playhouse will provide a space for fun and imagination for the young recipient while her father is deployed overseas next year. For this heartwarming endeavor, UTFCU was proud to partner with Knoxville Habitat for Humanity, a local outreach and advocacy organization for affordable and equitable housing in the community.

UT Federal Credit Union is a community-focused organization that always seeks ways to volunteer, give back to the community, and serve those who serve the nation.
