Beyond Banking: Community Connections
At UT Federal Credit Union, we believe that making a difference goes far beyond banking. Every day, our team has the opportunity to support local organizations, connect with students, celebrate our employees, and partner with nonprofits that are making our communities stronger.
Here's a look at some of the ways we've been building connections and giving back throughout the year.
Investing in Our Communities
Supporting our communities is one of the most meaningful parts of what we do, and we've been honored to partner with organizations that are changing lives across Tennessee.
This year, our team attended the 27th Annual CAC Pancake Breakfast, supporting the Knoxville-Knox County CAC Office on Aging and its mission to serve older adults throughout our community.
We also joined the Epilepsy Foundation of East Tennessee's Mardi Gras Gala, helping raise funds for programs that provide medication assistance, transportation, diagnostic testing, and other critical resources for local families.
Another memorable evening was Golden Hour, hosted by Sunshine Services. The event celebrated inclusion, opportunity, and the organization's continued commitment to creating meaningful employment and life opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Our commitment to community also included sponsoring and attending Helping Mamas Knoxville's Bloom Bash, supporting families through essential baby and period products, along with participating in Covenant Health's Game On Against Cancer, the Knoxville Ice Bears Foundation Bearly Golfin' Charity Classic, Blount Mansion's Martinis at the Mansion, Wesley House Tablescapes, and the Heroes for Hope 5K.
Every partnership represents another opportunity to strengthen the communities we proudly call home.

Supporting Education & the Volunteer Spirit
As the official credit union for all who love Tennessee, we're proud to support students, faculty, staff, and the Volunteer community throughout the year.
During Spring Break, we once again partnered with UT to West Tennessee, providing treat bags for students traveling home.
Our Student Union team also enjoyed connecting with Vol fans during Orange & White Game Day, participated in the Vol Walk for Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and proudly returned as the presenting sponsor of VOLthon, helping support East Tennessee Children's Hospital and the incredible children and families it serves.
We also connected with campus partners during UT Partnership Day, while members of our leadership team attended the UT Leadership Conference, where our CEO, Kenyon Warren, shared insights as a featured panelist on leadership and organizational growth.
In Memphis, our team attended the University of Tennessee College of Nursing NightinGala, celebrating nursing excellence while supporting scholarships for future healthcare professionals.

Connecting Face-to-Face
Building relationships starts with showing up.
Throughout the year, our team participated in events that allowed us to connect with members, businesses, students, and community leaders across Tennessee.
We enjoyed meeting attendees at the Farragut West Knox Business Expo, where we shared information about UTFCU membership and financial solutions while networking with local businesses.
We also proudly sponsored the Pellissippi Strong Luncheon, celebrating resilience, leadership, and the achievements of the Pellissippi State community.
Whether we're attending an expo, hosting a booth, or supporting a local event, every conversation is an opportunity to build relationships that last.

Celebrating Those Who Care for Others
Healthcare has always been an important part of UTFCU's story, making National Nurses Week especially meaningful.
Our teams delivered appreciation gifts to nurses at UT Medical Center, Dolly Parton's Children's Hospital, and healthcare offices throughout our communities. We also celebrated alongside students and faculty at the University of Tennessee College of Nursing, recognizing the dedication and compassion of current and future nurses.

Supporting the People Behind Our Mission
The heart of UTFCU is our employees, and we love finding ways to recognize the incredible people who make our mission possible.
For Employee Appreciation Day, our Employee Engagement Committee treated employees across the credit union to lunch and fresh lemonade, giving every team member an opportunity to celebrate together.
During Youth Month, branches hosted an employee coloring contest that showcased creativity across the organization, with winning artwork recognized during an executive meeting.
Our employees also proudly participated in Donate Life Month, wearing Donate Life Tennessee shirts to raise awareness about the life-saving impact of organ, eye, and tissue donation.
These moments remind us that caring for our communities starts with caring for one another.
More Than Banking
Community connections aren't built through a single event—they're built over time through partnerships, volunteerism, service, and genuine relationships.
Whether we're supporting local nonprofits, encouraging students, celebrating healthcare professionals, volunteering alongside community partners, or simply showing up where we're needed, we're proud to live our mission of improving lives, financially and beyond.
Thank you to every organization, partner, volunteer, employee, and community member who allows us to be part of this journey. We look forward to continuing to build meaningful connections throughout the year.
