UT Federal Credit Union and Pellissippi State: Building Opportunities Together

A new five-year partnership brings financial resources, student support, and new opportunities to the Pellissippi State community.

A strong partnership starts with shared values and a shared vision for the people and communities you serve.

That is what brought UT Federal Credit Union (UTFCU) and Pellissippi State Community College together for a new five-year partnership that will support Panther Athletics, student-athletes, scholarships, financial education, and the broader Pellissippi State community.

The partnership officially began September 14, 2026, with a Signing Day celebration at Pellissippi State’s Hardin Valley Campus during Panther Game Day. As the official partner of Panther Athletics, UTFCU is proud to become the first-ever corporate partner of the Panthers.

But this partnership is about more than a name on a field or a presence at athletic events. It is about being there for Pellissippi State students, faculty, and the community in ways that can make a meaningful difference.

A Natural Partnership

From the first conversations between UTFCU and Pellissippi State, the connection between the two organizations was clear.

Both organizations are focused on creating opportunities for people to learn, grow, and build their futures. For UTFCU, that means finding ways to improve lives, financially and beyond. For Pellissippi State, it means helping students pursue their education and prepare for what comes next.

Supporting Panther Athletics

Athletics is an important part of the Pellissippi State experience, and supporting the Panthers is a key part of the new relationship.

UTFCU’s partnership will help support improvements to Panther Athletics while creating new opportunities for student-athletes.

One of the most visible parts of the partnership will be UT Federal Credit Union Field, the new premier soccer field at Pellissippi State.

The field represents the continued growth of Panther Athletics and provides student-athletes with a new place to compete, develop their skills, and represent their college.

UTFCU will also be part of events throughout the year, including Signing Day and Fan Day, creating opportunities for the credit union to connect with the Pellissippi State community and celebrate Panther student-athletes.

Financial Resources Where Students Are

College is an important time for building independence, and students make financial decisions every day that can impact their future.

Through this partnership, Pellissippi State students will have access to UTFCU's financial resources and guidance right where they are.

While UTFCU will not have a traditional branch on the Pellissippi State campus, a dedicated UTFCU team will be available to students and faculty through campus events, engagement opportunities, and other partnership activities.

That means students can connect with a financial resource that understands their needs without having to look far from where they learn, compete, and build their futures.

UTFCU will also have opportunities to provide financial education and guidance to help students develop greater financial knowledge and confidence.

Topics such as building credit, saving, managing money, and making informed financial decisions can be especially valuable as students begin taking on more financial responsibility.

The partnership also includes support for the Pellissippi State Foundation, helping provide resources that benefit students and advance the college's fundraising efforts.
